How this Campaign Operates
How this Campaign Operates
Our Current Reality
We continue to live through a period where those in power do so by dividing and conquering. They exploit our differences to distract us from the shared values and experiences that actually unite us.
- Monetized attention and relationships: Our relationships have been outsourced to billionaire-owned algorithms designed to steal our time and attention. These platformsFacebook/Meta, Twitter, Substack, YouTube, TikTok, Bluesky, etc. make us feel like we are "doing something," while we are actually becoming more isolated. We lack a consistent third spaceShared public spaces where community happens outside of the workplace and the home. to share ideas and grow.
- The wage gap & time debt: We work for wages that haven’t kept pace with healthcare, housing, education, and other needs. This creates an endless cycle of work and exhaustion, encouraging us to disconnect in an artificial digital escape, leaving a void once filled by community.
- The surveillance state: From Flock camerasFlock cameras are automated license plate readers that create a searchable digital database of every vehicle and neighbor that passes through our streets. This infrastructure creates a permanent record of our daily movements, often shared with federal agencies without a warrant or public oversight to massive military/ICE budgetsThe current administration has effectively tripled the ICE budget to $30 billion, the infrastructure of control is growing. We cannot rely on the same communication platforms owned by the ruling class. If we wait to build a secure, independent alternative, the window for an earnest third-party or grassroots effort may close.
Our Response
This is not a traditional campaign. We aren't asking you to knock on the doors of strangers or step far outside your comfort zone. We are asking you to engage differently with the people you already know and trust.
The 3x3 "Nervous System"
Traditional campaigns are built to collect the most money possible so they can blast a generic message as far as they can. They prioritize a wide, shallow reach, shouting at strangers and hoping something sticks.
We are building something that moves slower, with more intention, to cover more surface area. Think of it like a nervous systemA biological network that uses branching connections to send and receive signals. Unlike a straight line, it creates a "mesh" of information that ensures every part of the body is responsive, protected, and connected. rather than a megaphone. Like a healthy nervous system, this campaign is a feedback loop. Information flows from the community to the campaign, and back again, ensuring the movement stays responsive to the real-world experiences of the people within it. By moving through trusted relationships, we create a network that is resilient and deeply rooted.
To build this system, we ask you to go deep with three people in three specific spaces:
- ● Labor/Learning Your coworkers, fellow students, or trade partners.
- ● Community/Connection Your friends, family, faith circles, community groups, or hobby spaces.
- ● Neighbors The people in your direct geographic community.
Our Tools
To facilitate these conversations with your network, the campaign provides the raw materials. You don’t need to be a policy expert. You just need to be a "translator" for your circle.
- Weekly video series: Every week, I release a 10–15 minute video pulling back the curtain on how our system is designed. These are issues where deliberate government decisions have fueled wealth inequality for the profit of a few. We explore how these problems were made and, more importantly, the viable alternatives we can choose instead.
- Community knowledge: You are the direct connection to your community. You can take the information from the weekly video series and connect the points that matter most to your network. You know them and you trust them. This is designed to be a lengthy process, with small but consistent efforts. Don't force the conversations. Listen more than you speak. Avoid being a "fact-bully" and instead lean on your story to strengthen your message.
- Community events: Once our network is rooted, we move from conversation to contribution. Throughout the spring and summer, we will mobilize for local clean-ups, the restoration of shared spaces, and direct support for neighbors who need it most. We will link up with different groups where we can to deepen and expand existing community. By showing up for each other in tangible, physical ways, we change lives and minds.
- Their products: We use traditional social media differently. We will highlight people who are having effective, real-world conversations so others can learn what worked, what language resonated, and how to navigate "Heard, Helped, or Hugged" momentsA framework by Charles Duhigg that helps us identify if someone needs validation, a solution, or emotional support, ensuring we meet people where they are..
Our Infrastructure
We are building a simple web application to source volunteer assistance to help our campaign while developing a district-wide supportive network. It is designed with intentional friction to know that the person you are communicating with is a real person who has a stake in our community.
- Semi-anonymous & private: You provide no identifying information, but you can only join through a direct personal connection. Each individual receives nine invites to expand the network. If you don't know anyone in your area connected to the campaign, we will send a campaign representative to meet you in-person.
- Noise reduction: Unlike traditional social media, this app is designed to be used less. All users have the same limits for posting and supporting comments. This decreases the "dopaminergic"Related to the neurotransmitter dopamine; in technology, this refers to addictive design features used to capture and monetize human attention. noise and forces thoughtful discussion.
- The bulletin board: A local "Wanted/Offered" space that uses "Mutual Verifiers" (showing how many circles away you are from someone) to build trust without sacrificing anonymity. We want the community to feel supported and connected, mirroring how a government should function. Our campaign will also utilize this feature to let people know how they can directly support the campaign without donating any money.
- Public ownership: This code is open-source, but more importantly, the system itself is intended to be publicly owned. There is no profit motive. If it works, it remains a community utility for long after the 2026 election is over.
The Candidate
I am not a polished politician. I am a neighbor who is leaving a career in healthcare and higher education because the system is busted from the top down. The future for my daughter looks worse than my future at her age. I need to be able to know that I did everything I could to make the world a better place for her. I’ve struggled with the balance of full-time work and parenting; I’ve felt the scarcity of time we all feel. I've spent time in our systems to see where they work well and where they fall short. I'll never give a perfect speech, but I will offer a better design. If we stop fighting for the scraps of time the system leaves us and start building a community that actually supports one another, we can change the current trajectory of our country.
- Transparency: I am capping my spending at $10,000 and I will not monetize any of the content. This campaign is a model for election finance reform.
- Humility: I will be comfortable acknowledging when I don't know the answer, and using our network to come to a solid response. I will be quick to admit when I’ve changed my mind based on new evidence.
- My big goal: My goal is to make sure that by 2028, we have a working-class network ready to run candidates that give us the political numbers needed to change Washington and move our country forward.
Start the
Conversation.
We are looking for 300 core people across every working-class sector (healthcare, education, laborers, public sector workers, and more) to be the first link in this campaign.
We are building our communication system based on genuine trust and interpersonal connections. These 300 core organizers will launch our invitation-only network by personally inviting 9 people they know and trust, who will keep the process growing. This method of expanding through trusted, in-person invitations ensures our growth is democratic, effective, and protective of your privacy.
Why This Process?
- The campaign stays connected to working-class issues.
- Everyone has a voice while protecting your privacy.
